Operation Snow White
This fell under the auspices of the Guardian's Office and was a plan to infiltrate government offices to reduce or eliminate documents and files that were critical of the church. They were successful in infiltrating 136 government agencies, foreign embassies and private companies. This has been called the "single largest infiltration of the Federal Government in US History."
Eleven high ranking CoS officials were officially charged including L. Ron Hubbards wife and L. Ron Hubbard was listed by Federal Prosecutors as an un-indicted co-conspirator.
While the CoS claims that these people acted alone and were merely misdirected and have been summarily purged from the church and that the Guardian's Office has since been disbanded. There is ample proof that the name may have changed, but that the actions of the Guardians Office are similar to the actions of the organization that replaced it, The Office of Special Affairs (OSA).
