Operation Party Hard (aka "The Ides of March") is a global protest that will occur on March 15, 2008. We shall party, and we shall do it hard. It is the planned follow-up to the February 10 Raid. There are many items that we need to make this protest a huge success. Please visit the Help page for information on what we need, and volunteering the coming weekends or on 3/15!

Focus
Our motives for this event will be twofold:
- Atmosphere: In keeping with the theme of a party for L. Ron Hubbard's birthday, the proceedings will be good humored and with a playful attitude. Invite all to share in the the festivities with us.
- Message: The serious focus of this protest will include the commemoration of Elli Perkins's tragic passing, to celebrate L. Ron Hubbard's birthday, protest the Church of Scientology's tax-exempt status, and to educate the general public and Scientologists.
Signs, Fliers, Rules, General notices
Masks are still a gray area! You may wear them, however if a police officer asks/tells you to take it off, please do so IMMEDIATELY. Sunglasses, bandanas, hats, scarves and the like ARE STILL YOUR BEST BET, and you should bring some just in case you are asked to remove your mask. Check out photographs of the Feb. 10 protest in Clearwater to see what face coverings are acceptable. Sgt. Stephens of Clearwater PD looked over the crowd pre-march on 2/10 and said that everything was in order and he did not see any face coverings that had to be changed.

- Your safety and well being are mildly important to us, please read and follow the rules for protesting, or your face may be escorted to the nearest curb. Your Right to Protest brochure
- Signs are an integral part of the protest. Information and ideas. Make sure signs are informative to the general public (nothing too obscure), and remember that Scientologists DO NOT worship the mythical alien overlord Xenu. Do not make anti-Xenu signs, that is just being ignorant.
